1. In the Cardiovascular System program of your Interactive Physiology CD-ROM, study the topic
    Capillary Dynamics which is the last part of the Autoregulation / Capillary Dynamics program.

 

2.  Describe the structure of the lymphatic capillaries and tell how their structure contributes to their function.


3.  Discuss the function of lacteals and tell where they are found.

 

4.  Describe how lymph is transported around the heart since there is no "lymph heart" to pump it.


5.  List the lymphoid cells and their functions.

 

6.  List the lymphoid organs (don't stop at 3).

 

7.  Describe the function of lymph nodes.


8.  Tell where the spleen is located.


9.  Tell where the thymus is located.


10.  Tell where the tonsils are located and name the different tonsils.


11.  Discuss the locations and functions of the Peyer's patches, appendix, and MALT.

 

12. Do the multiple choice test at the end of the chapter.
