"Medline is the NLM's premier bibliographic database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences."
A service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, this website is a consumer version of MEDLINE containing authoritative sources for health topics and drug information. Also contains a medical encyclopedia and dictionary.
This comprehensive drug index includes an advanced search that allows searches by keyword, imprint codes and NDC codes. It also provides a separate search for "Patient Drug Information." Many of the terms within the drug description are linked to definitions in "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary." Near the bottom of the left frame is a link to "Taber's" and a Medical Abbreviations Finder search box.
