Passport to Careers for Foster Youth

Grays Harbor College has two programs specifically focused on assisting former foster youth and unaccompanied homeless youth to prepare for and succeed in college. One program is the Passport to Careers program, and the other is the Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness Grant. Students who have been working with their high school McKinney-Vento Liaison or have received a State Foster You (SFY) or Unaccompanied Homeless You (HY) delectation should contact the Director of Educational Partnerships, lori.christmas@ghc.edu, 360-538-2526

Through Passport to College, students get a scholarship and support services from college staff. Funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, housing, transportation, and some personal expenses.
