Accounting (AAS-T)
This degree is built upon the technical courses required for job preparation, but also includes a college-level general education component. This is consistent with the dual purpose of transfer and preparation for direct employment.
AAS-T degrees are NOT DIRECT TRANSFER degrees. These are workforce degrees that contain a core of at least twenty (20) transferable general education courses including English composition (5 credits); quantitative reasoning (5 credits); and social science, humanities or science (10 credits). Many AAS-T degrees will have significantly more than the minimum 20 credits of general education.
