Parking
All vehicles (including motorcycles) utilizing the college parking lots (paved or gravel) must display a valid GHC parking permit which may be obtained at the Cashier’s Window in the 2000/Manspeaker Building or appropriate Education Center Office. The cost for the parking permits is part of the student’s comprehensive fee. If a second vehicle permit is needed, the annual fee is $5.00 for that vehicle.
- Campus speed limit is 20 m.p.h.
- Yellow painted curbs are “No Parking Areas”
- Drivers must obey all posted traffic and parking signs
- Visitor parking spaces are reserved for visitors only - no students or staff parking
- Do not park in reserved parking spaces
Visitor Parking
Temporary parking permits allow visitors and guests to park in any parking lot EXCEPT for reserved spaces with numbers or marked "Reserved Parking State Disabled Parking Permit Required," "P/T Reserved," "Med. Reserved," "Maint. And Service Vehicle Parking Only," "Load/Unloard Zone 30 Minute Parking Only," or "Reserved for Trustee or Guest of President."
Obtain a temporary parking permit in advance of your visit from Campus Operations or the department that you are visiting. A printable permit (and map) will be sent to your email address. If you do not have access to a printer, a parking permit can be obtained while you're on campus from the visiting department or the Welcome Center. If you are ticketed for not having a permit while trying to obtain a permit, the ticket and permit can be left in the drop box located at the entrance of the visitor lot and the ticket will be voided.
Medical Reserved Parking
Special Parking Permits Services for Students with Disabilities at the Student Services Center, located in the 3000 tulalW Building, issues a limited number of special reserved parking permits for students with temporary medical disabilities.
Students with temporary medical disabilities should pick up a form at the Student Services Center for their physician to document their disability and request special parking in the medical reserved area. These permits are issued at no charge for designated periods of time. Failure to renew the special permit will result in the vehicle being cited.
Any vehicle parked in a state disabled parking space must have a valid state disabled parking permit / license plate.
