Earth Sciences

Earth scientists study the Earth and its various mutually interacting parts. Earth scientists find employment in a variety of fields. Many Earth scientists use their knowledge to locate and develop energy and mineral resources. Others study our environmental impact on the planet. Still others study various geologic processes in order to mitigate the damage from natural disasters such as volcanoes or earthquakes.
