Safety Training

This course includes OSHA safety and health regulations for construction, enforcement, recordkeeping, walking-working surfaces, means of egress, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Protection Plans, electrical safety, hazardous materials, personal protective equipment, machinery and machine guarding, safety and health programs, hazard communication, hazardous substances and industrial hygiene. Students will receive an OSHA 10-hour General Industry card, basic first aid and AED, confined space training, rigging safety and the safety hazards associated with ropes, cables, slings, rigging hardware, lift capacities, load weights and sling angles are discussed.
