Course Description: 
this course is intended to complement skills in computer-aided drafting (CAD). The content will help develop an understanding of fundamental drafting technique and basis geometric construction. The emphasis is on creating a conventional drawing in a step-by-step process and on becoming familiar with drafting methods and processes used by industry. Manual drafting will develop skills and techniques in problem solving, expressing ideas, and interpreting drawings in a more clear and concise manner. This course is 15 hours lecture and 30 hours lab and is part of the Technical Design Program which will lead to a professional technical certificate.
