Dragon Naturally Speaking 

  • Voice recognition software translates speech into type and/or commands for the computer and word processing. Before Dragon can be used the individual will need to train the software to recognize their voice (takes about 30 minutes and AAS can help with this).

  • Text to speech reader software.
  • Located in Library's speech room.

JAWS

  • Screen-reading software that provides audio input of what is visually shown on the computer screen.
  • Located in Library's speech room.

ZoomText 10.1

  • Features magnification, screen reading, and scanning with Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
  • Located in Library's speech room.
