Posted on: Dec, 27, 2024
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management (BAS-OM) is applicable to local employers throughout the for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors. The organizational management degree focus has been developed after extensive communications with our community stakeholders. In a region poised for economic growth, this applied degree is designed to help students to maximize their professional goals. Lyn Lanka, the program lead says, “Our Organizational Management Program is designed to make you both an asset to yourself and your employer. We have designed and implemented our program to provide you with the tools to stay on the cutting edge of business in today’s workplace.”
The BAS-OM program is a two-year program that runs during fall, winter, and spring quarters, with entry for new students to start during any quarter. New students do not have to wait until Fall Quarter to begin the bachelor program. The program is designed with working adults in mind and classes are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30-9:30 pm. These classes are flexible with both in person and Zoom options available. Some students choose to complete the degree completely through the Zoom online option and do not need to come to campus to complete the degree.
To apply for the BAS-OM program eligible students must have earned an associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university and completed a short list of prerequisite courses. For a list of prerequisites and other program information including how to apply, please visit the Organizational Management website or contact Lyn Lanka at evelyn.lanka@ghc.edu or 360-538-4065. Eligible students can apply for the two-year program any time and begin the program during any quarter.
