Cecelia Frye - 2024 Top Scholar

Each year, Grays Harbor College recognizes students with the highest grade point average in the graduating class. Cecelia Frye is one of the Top Scholars in the class of 2024, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Cecelia recently graduated from Hoquiam High School and from GHC with an Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement. Cecelia’s favorite class at GHC was Biology 160.

This fall, Cecelia will attend the University of Washington to major in Public Health - Global Health and minor in International Studies. Cecelia aspires to become an epidemiologist. Cecelia's advice for future students is to, "advocate for yourself and meet with your advisor frequently."

When reflecting on her time at GHC, Cecelia said, "Thank you to Grays Harbor College, specifically Lori Christmas, Timothy Plagge, and Allison Criswell for their support.” "
