Each year, Grays Harbor College recognizes students with the highest grade point average (GPA) in the graduating class. Evalyn Beaugez is one of the Top Scholars in the Class of 2024, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Evalyn graduated from GHC with an Associate of Arts - Direct Transfer degree. Her favorite class was Abnormal Psychology. She thanked her husband for supporting her through her education. "My husband has been my rock through all of life's challenges, making it possible for me to finish my degree."

This fall, Evalyn will pursue a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Western Governors University. She shared the following advice for future students: "Take a break if you need it, don't let your mental health suffer."
