Ruby Jones - 2024 Top Scholar

Each year, Grays Harbor College recognizes students with the highest grade point average in the graduating class. Ruby Jones is one of the Top Scholars in the class of 2024, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Ruby is a graduate in the class of 2024, earning a high school diploma from Montesano High school and an Associate of Arts degree from Grays Harbor College. This fall, Ruby plans to transfer to George Fox University to pursue a bachelor's degree in either education or engineering.

Ruby's favorite class was Intro to Engineering with Jaime Reino. When reflecting on her time at GHC, Ruby thanked her family as well as Jaime Reino and Jenel Cope, who she described as, "both excellent teachers at the college."
