Skyler graduated from Elma High School and also earned an Associate of Arts - Direct Transfer degree from Grays Harbor College. While at GHC, Skyler's favorite class was Nutrition 101, which uncovered an interest in health and wellness.

"I would like to thank my mom, my dad, and my best friend for supporting me in my educational endeavors," Skyler said. "I would also like to thank the faculty that spent the time to help Running Start students like me. Thank you all!"

Skyler was an active member of the Elma band from 5th to 12th grade and participated in FBLA during Junior and Senior year at EHS. This fall, Skyler will attend Pacific Lutheran University to study Kinesiology, with plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Skyler’s advice for future students: "Some classes are going to be harder than others, but they are all very important to your education. Everyone has a hard time in different classes, so don't feel intimidated or scared of trying classes that sound interesting."
