Robyn's Memorial Resource Room
Robyn's Resource Room is located in room 2408 in the Manspeaker Instructional Building. The room is named in memory of Robyn Sweet-Smith, a graduate of the BAS Teacher Education program. Robyn was tragically killed in a car accident on the Westport Highway. Robyn is remembered by her peers as the Cohort Mom; she always made sure everyone was doing okay and was sure to help her classmates if they needed it.
The resource room has many books on teaching, cultural responsiveness, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and teacher education assessment study guides. There is also a small supply of student supplies available. The room has three computers and a printer to allow students to work in small groups, check email, and work on assignments. The computers are available on a first come first serve basis. Computers were generously donated by John Betrozoff, Raymond WA. RHS Class of 1953, GHC Alumnus Class of 1955.
