Art Work Study

Job Description

Provide office assistance to art instructor, maintain and rotate art studio/lab space, assist instructor in preparing, tracking, and framing student work and installing student exhibition. Additional duties that support the program as needed.

Typical Duties

  • Typing
  • Digital Scanning
  • Digital File Management
  • Photocopying
  • Preparation of artwork for exhibit
  • Misc. maintenance of art area: inventory, clean desks & sinks
  • Record keeping and database management

Qualifications

English 101: enrollment or placement

  • Basic word processing skills
  • Some skills with digital imaging and graphic design software desired
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • HTML and  Photoshop knowledge is desirable but not required
  • Lifting/moving heavy objects

Hours

  • 10 hours per week. Schedule can be worked around class schedule

Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrolled in 6 Credits or More
  • Must be Meeting Standard Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Federal/State Financial Aid processed and awarded in ctcLink
  • Have room in unmet Federal/Cost of Attendance Need money - $2500 Maximum per quarter
