Free/Reduced Price Meal Pilot Grant

Grays Harbor College is participating in a three-year pilot of a Washington State sponsored food grant.  The grant’s purpose is to improve students’ food security, leading to enhanced well-being, academic performance, and social engagement so students can thrive in their academic journey.

Participating students will receive food benefits equivalent to three meals per week for each week of the quarter they are enrolled.  Students will be expected to participate in surveys and other data collection.

Benefits of the Pilot Grant

Food Grant benefits may include on-campus meals; food cards to on- or off-campus food vendors; meal kits; complimentary groceries; food, nutrition, or cooking classes; and cookbooks.  Workforce Funding strives to meet students’ special dietary requirements.
